2. Categories of data we process
2.1 Server logs
When the website is accessed, the web server automatically records the IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status, response size, referer and user-agent in log files. Logs are rotated automatically after 30 days.
2.2 Contact form
When you use the contact form you submit your name, email address, optional subject, and your message. To prevent spam and abuse, the IP address and the submission timestamp are stored alongside (1-hour sliding window for rate limiting).
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Operating the website and security: overriding legitimate interest in a stable, secure operation.
- Answering enquiries: pre-contractual steps or legitimate interest in getting in touch with you.
- Bot and abuse mitigation: legitimate interest in protecting the infrastructure and the integrity of incoming messages.
4. Recipients and disclosures abroad
The following processors receive data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States, with EU presence) — CDN, DDoS and bot mitigation including Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare may process technical metadata and IP addresses. Cross-border transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

The website is operated on our own infrastructure.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
This website itself sets no cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set short-lived browser tokens for bot detection; these are used solely for the security check and not for advertising or tracking.
6. Retention
- Server logs: 30 days
- Contact-form messages: for as long as needed to handle the matter; in the case of an ongoing business relationship, in line with the commercial and tax retention periods of Swiss law (10 years).
- Rate-limit metadata: 1-hour sliding window.
